iRiver E150
The iRiver player is a very good choice if you don’t mind a little shortcoming: the latency. You have to be a little persistent when pressing buttons to navigate through the menu. If you don’t mind this you have a very good mp4 player.
The sound quality is excellent – I’m not using the headphones from the package (I’ve got my own Panasonic headphones), and the volume is ok. The screen is bright, it has its own speakers and a miniSD card slot. So if 4 GB is not enough for you, the storage memory can be extended.
The iRiver E150 mp4 player also has a microphone, very useful for taking an interview or recording sounds.
On the video side, for those using Linux, I recommend the ireverter converter with the settings: PMP series (device) and 320×240 (resolution). A 230 MB avi file is shrunk down to about 140 MB (the converter from the iRiver cd, on Windows, brought it down to about 100 MB).

I bought this new and had an extra 8G microSD card installed so it could hold more albums. It was bought as a replacement to an iRiver ifp-899 1G player. That player was solid and well featured I thought this would be a nice step up. iRiver realizes that some people want to record using line-in, FM radio, or a microphone.
I got this while I was deployed to the dessert and let me
tell you this thin held up for 2 years. One of those years was used ever
day in dust storms and it held up ! I have had issues with mp3 players
in general but this one is amazing and def worth the cost.
It has been a Dream MP player for youngsters! The power of electronic
technique of South Korea is so strong that no other reason would be
possible to purchase and enjoy these kinds!
Battery Life of the iRiver E150 mp4 player
The battery is excellent, it last like a “lifetime”. After the first charge I listened to it every day for about 2 hours and it lasted 3 weeks! This is just unbelievable for me.
The FM radio is another feature I use, you can also see pictures on it, not to mention the clips I watch daily. As a tip, I’d advise you to set the player on HD mode on the Iriver E150 mp4 player.
at the end of this review, here is a one great video review from youtube, uploaded by: musicac90.
